Objective:

To combine my experience as a journalist and professional cook as a content provider and editor for a Bay Area publishing company, magazine, or web site. I want to work as an editor of cookery books and other food-related books and publications, as well as continue my work writing about food, and cultural issues surrounding food.

Present:
Cook for Blue Fog markets, a small local chain of high-end markets in Laurel Heights and Cow Hollow.  Plan menus, write recipes, as well as cooking for both markets.
Present:
Freelance writer, publishing in San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, Wheel of Dharma, and other publications. 
2006-2007:
Cook employed with Acrobat Staffing, a foodservice and hospitality staffing agency in San Francisco. Clients with whom I have worked include Taste, Global Gourmet, Knickerbocker, Paula LaDuke, and Elaine Bell.

Kitchen manager at LikeWise Café, 476 Castro Street, San Francisco. Set up and stocked kitchen when café first opened; was responsible for purchasing, overseeing kitchens operations and activities of kitchen staff, and cooking.
